Her Gabriel Hawke Novels are about a Native American Fish and Wildlife State Trooper solving murders with his tracking skills. Many of these books are set in Wallowa County. The Spotted Pony Casino Mysteries are set at a fictional tribal run casino on the Umatilla Reservation. The main character is a disabled veteran who is the head of security at the Spotted Pony Casino.
